The Argor-Heraeus Kinebar is a 2-gram bar of 999.9 fine gold produced by Argor-Heraeus, one of Switzerland's leading LBMA-accredited refiners. It carries a Kinegram — an optical security feature embedded in the bar's surface that changes appearance when tilted, making counterfeiting significantly harder to replicate.
VAT: Exempt — investment-grade gold (≥99.5% purity) is VAT-free under UK law.
Capital Gains Tax: Not exempt — gold bars are not UK legal tender, so gains above your annual CGT allowance may be taxable.
